I am very proud to introduce Baby Girl Maeve.
Maeve has been lovingly created from Cassie Brace’s now sold out baby kit. Maeve is a sleeping baby with full arms, full legs, and has a beige doe suede cloth body.
Height: Approx 18″.
Weight: Approx 5lb 1oz.
I have painted Maeve to have a newborn appearance with many translucent thin layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints to produce her skin effects such as mottling, veins and redness. Her fingernails and toenails have been tipped and sealed with gloss. I have painted tiny milk spots on her face and a small newborn “pin prick” mark on her heal. I have painted her eyebrows and given Maeve a moist appearance to the corners of her eyes and her mouth. Her paint has been sealed.
I have directionally micro-rooted and mono-rooted Maeve’s hair and eyelashes with Delta Dawn brown premium mohair which has been sealed on the inside. Her hair should be gently styled and any knots gently teased out, with extra care taken with hats and headbands. Maeve has a magnet inside her head to allow her to take a dummy (pacifier).
Maeve’s body has been filled with heavy super soft fibrefill and weighted with small plastic poly pellets and steel balls. Her head has been filled with good quality fibrefill and weighted with steel balls to allow it to “flop” like a newborn baby, so her head does need to be supported. Her arms and legs have been filled with tiny glass beads and good quality fibrefill.
